  • Kennel boarding fees if you are hospitalized due to an accident or illness and you cannot care for your pet.
  • Holiday-trip-cancellation coverage if your pet requires emergency, life-saving treatment resulting in the need to cancel your vacation.
  • Lost pet advertising and reward.
  • Cremation or burial costs for your pet.
No deductible or co-pay applies to any of the above additional benefits.
 
TRIBUTE DONATION
  • We support local and national organizations. We'll make a tribute donation in honour of your pet to one of our preferred animal-welfare charities if your pet passes away.

 

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED
  • All pre-existing conditions
  • Any accidents that arise within the 48-hour waiting period, and any illnesses that arise within the 14-day waiting period
  • *Accident plan does not provide coverage for illnesses.

 

HOW IT WORKS

  • You choose the percentage of your veterinary bills that we - Pets Plus Us - pay ranging from 70%, 80% or 90%.
  • You choose the coverage limit you want: either $7,500 or $15,000 per year.
  • You pay the remaining percentage, plus your chosen annual deductible.

 

AGE-BASED ANNUAL-DEDUCTIBLE OPTIONS
You pay this share of the costs only once per year (even if you have multiple claims) and you don't pay it at all if you don't make a claim.
